Known for films like ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘Khiladi 420’, actor-director-composer Neeraj Vora, passed away Thursday morning at the age of 54. He made his directorial debut with ‘Khiladi 420’ that featured Akshay Kumar.
A statement from the family said: “He will be taken to Mr. Firoz Nadiadwala’s house BARKAT, from where, he will be taken to the Santacruz Electric Crematorium at 3pm.”
Neeraj Vora wrote Aamir Khan’s superhit film ‘Rangeela’. He also acted in several films such as ‘Rangeela’ , ‘Virasat’, ‘Jung’, ‘Pukar’, ‘Mast’, ‘Satya’, ‘Mann’, ‘Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega’, ‘Daud’, ‘Department’, ‘Tezz’, ‘Company’, ‘Bol Bachchan’ and ‘Welcome Back’. He gave television a shot with dailies such as ‘Choti Badi Baatien’ and ‘Circus’.
According to reports, Vora was in a coma since the past 13 months after having suffered a heart-attack and brain stroke earlier.
‘Phir Hera Pheri 3’ was being postponed because of his poor health.
