S S Rajamouli’s epic action drama ‘RRR’ (2022) had completed its run collecting Rs. 1111 Crore at the box office worldwide. It has thus created history by becoming the third highest grossing Indian film and has generated unprecedented craze among the Western audiences. Hence, several directors and producers from Hollywood have predicted that ‘RRR’ will win Golden Globe Awards and Oscars in 2023.
The film is already competing for two Golden Globes; the award ceremony is going to be held today in Los Angeles. And now if Blumhouse Productions CEO Jason Blum’s prediction gets right, ‘RRR’ can be winning an Oscar too at the 95th Academy Awards 2023.
Yesterday, Jason Blum took to his Twitter handle and did a forecast on ‘RRR’ and wrote, “I’m going with ‘RRR’ winning best pic. You heard it here first. Mark it down, please. If I’m right, I am awarding myself my own Oscar.”

Following with that tweet, Blum later posted with a clarification that he has no hand in this Award selection system, “It’s ‘RRR’ time. Don’t miss it. And no I’m not involved in any way. Nor do I know anyone associated with the movie. Just see it.”

Directed by S S Rajamouli, starring NTR Jr. and Ram Charan in the lead roles, ‘RRR’ has already got shortlisted for several Oscar categories in the list of three hundred films from all over the world.
