Omertà is a 2017 Indian biographical crime-drama film directed by Hansal Mehta and stars Rajkummar Rao in the role of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British terrorist of Pakistani descent. Rajkummar Rao carries the film on his shoulders as it looks mostly at his life but sadly, only on the surface. Director Mehta’s films are normally meant for the critics and festival audience. Masses hardly patronize his films. It would appeal to a very thin audience and will largely go unnoticed at the box office.
