The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau has reportedly found ‘no evidence’ against Aryan Khan who was out on bail after the drug raid case alleged to be a part of the international drugs trafficking syndicate.
The latest reports suggested that there were several irregularities in the raid. Aryan was ‘never in possession of drugs’, so checking his phone and chats were useless. A report by The Hindustan Times also stated that the raid was ‘not video-recorded’ which is a mandate in the NCB’s manual.
The SIT probe didn’t end yet and there will be a legal opinion taken on the fact whether Aryan Khan should be charged for consumption even though he was not found with any drugs on him. Last year, however, the Bombay High court quashed all allegations against Aryan. Justice Nitin W Sambre said in his order, that there was ‘no evidence to suggest the existence of any conspiracy.’
