Rightly hailed for her keen sense of cinema, Nimrat Kaur has done it again in the ‘Dasvi’ trailer. Dropped only this morning, the character glimpse of the actress has caught everyone’s attention.
Nimrat Kaur will essay a wife of a jailed politician, who gets drunk on power. With impressive command over the Haryanvi dialect and body language, the actress has set the stage for the release high.
Calling her the surprise package of the film, fans are in awe of the massive physical transformation of the actress and are having a hard time recognising her. Well, we can’t debate that. For the unversed, Nimrat Kaur has put on 15kg to slip into her character.
While talking about the film, Nimrat Kaur said, “My character in ‘Dasvi’ pushed the actor inside me because it has the whole arch and comes from a different universe. I had the best exploring it and working on the film. From undergoing physical transformation to taking dialect lessons, filming ‘Dasvi’ was a whole journey. I can’t wait to present it to the world.”
Starring Nimrat Kaur, Yami Gautam and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles, ‘Dasvi’ will hit the screen on 7th April. Meanwhile, the actor has ‘Foundation’, an Apple TV+ show in the pipeline.
