Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away two years ago. CBI (Central Bureau Of Investigation) and NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) had been jointly working to find out the causes for the mysterious death. NCB now filed charges against Rhea Chakraborty and her brothers for procurement of narcotic substances and paying for such substances for the late actor. Special public prosecutor Atul Sarpande said that the court was supposed to move charges against all accused but since they moved for discharge applications, it wasn’t possible.
As of now only draught charges will be framed after the applications are moved. Sushant’s sister, Priyanka Singh took to Twitter to post, “Good Morning Truth Seekers! MTL: SSRians Hopeful InSSRCase. RTL: SSR Beacon Of Good Things.”
Special judge V G Raghuwanshi, hearing cases pertaining to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, has given the date for hearing on July 12. Rhea Chakraborty was arrested earlier in 2020 after Sushant’s death and was released almost after a month on bail.
