Marvel’s next high anticipated film ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ is coming to thrill us this July 7, 2022 and fans are eagerly waiting for it. The trailer was released 2 weeks ago and has garnered 36 million views already. As seen in the trailer, Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) full nude scene from back side has also created quite a stir on social media, as fans are hoping that this can be the first nude scene for Marvel. It has also been rumoured that Natalie Portman, who has played the role of Jane Foster, will be taking up the title of Mighty Thor in this franchise.
Now, many fans are wondering if the former couple, Jane Foster and Thor will make up and rekindle their romance again in ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’. Previously in an in interview with Disney’s D23 magazine, Portman and Hemsworth revealed that the upcoming Marvel epic will do feature some flashback sequences of Thor and Jane’s break-up.
Hemsworth said, “There’s actually wasn’t a whole lot of evidence to definitively say, ‘This is how they broke up. This is what happened.’ It was left open for interpretation, which was great because it allowed us to go on this fun journey; ‘What did their relationship look like when they were together? What did it look like when they were breaking up? Why did they break up?’ It’s some of the funniest stuff in the film.”
Portman said, “It was really fun to get to imagine the parts of their relationship we hadn’t seen and the hard parts of a scientist dating an otherworldly Super Hero.” The actress had also praised the director, Taika Waititi in that interview and further said, “Taika brings such a sense of fun, mischief, and spontaneity to the set. It was a really joyful environment and we embraced the silly.”
Natalie also divulged that, Marvel wanted her to come back, but she was not actually ready and mentally prepared after ‘Thor: The Dark World’. So, for Marvel, the easiest thing to do was to write her out for the time being but still have her legacy felt throughout the story and that is exactly what they did.
But till now, it’s still unknown that whether Thor and Foster will ever get back, or not. Despite some sets of photos may have led to believe, but rumors have also pointed that even Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) could get together, so Hemsworth’s God of Thunder may be out of luck, when it comes to his favorite Astrophysicist.
