Jennifer Aniston said that she had a gala time wearing the gorgeous Indian attire, an ivory lehenga, designed by Manish Malhotra for her upcoming film ‘Murder Mystery 2’.
Aniston’s Indian attire look was recently revealed by Netflix few months back, from a scene in the film, where she was seen attending an Indian wedding ceremony with co-star Adam Sandler. In the pictures, Aniston was seen wearing an ivory coloured heavily embroidered Chikankari lehenga paired with round-neck design blouse.
After wowing her Indian fans, Jennifer has finally opened up about her experience wearing the beautiful lehenga. Aniston, who enjoys a huge fan following from India thanks her ‘90s superhit sitcom ‘Friends’ (1994-2004), revealed that the lehenga, which took approximately three months to make, was very beautiful and quite heavy.
Adam Sandler, who had also attended the interview, complimented Aniston and said she looked stunning. While expressing her gratitude to Sandler, Jennifer further shared, “It was extremely heavy and I wasn’t expecting that. So much respect for all the beautiful women of India who have to not only wear it, but dance their b**** off. We had a really good time.”
While talking about shooting for the Indian wedding ceremony, Aniston shared, “We had five days to shoot that scene”, to which in the middle Sandler added, “And dance and eat Indian food.” “Food and be happy. But remember how long it took? We also shot it in Hawaii for three days”, Aniston further continued.
The upcoming Netflix Original film is the sequel of ‘Muder Mystery’ (2019). The story was about a married couple, Nick (Sandler) and Audrey Spitz (Aniston), who finally go on a European vacation for their honeymoon after fifteen years of togetherness and get caught up in a murder investigation on a billionaire’s yacht.
Directed by Jeremy Garelick, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in the leads, ‘Murder Mystrey 2’ is all set to release on March 31 only on Netflix.
