‘Mithya’ is a dark drama featuring Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani. The makers of the web series dropped its trailer which is slated to premiere on Zee5 on February 18.
The 6-episode Rohan Sippy directorial is a psychological thriller produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Rose Audio Visual Production. It also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajit Kapur and Samir Soni in pivotal roles. This is Avantika’s debut in the industry.
In the series, Huma Qureshi plays the role of a professor of a Hindi University and Avantika is her student. They are not on good terms and a web of mystery binds them together. The trailer starts with Huma accusing Avantika of plagiarism and cheating which takes a difficult turn involving their personal relationships. As the central characters engage in a conversation in head-on combat, things take a dark turn involving everyone around them in it.
The trailer is intense and dark, full of suspense and mystery. Overall, it is engrossing and uniquely.
