The song “Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main” from ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ is almost as memorable as the film itself. When one thinks of the song, the visual of Simran (Kajol) painting the town red with Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) in an inebriated state immediately comes to one’s mind.
Mawra Hocane, who will be soon making her Bollywood debut with Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru’s ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, is seen in a similar avatar, having dollops of fun under the influence of alcohol in “Kheech Meri Photo”, a song from the film. Saru (Mawra Hocane) gulps down alcohol and sings aloud ‘Toh Kheech meri photo, toh Kheech meri photo piya’.
The song which hit the tube recently, sees Inder (Harshavardhan Rane) clicking Saru’s pictures as she goes about trying to figure out ‘Kis type ki piyakkad hoon main?’(what kind of a drunkard am I?).
‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, produced by Deepak Mukut and presented by Eros International, releases on February 5, 2016.
