Another Marvel Studios’ much awaited film, ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’, is all set to hit the theatres on July 8, 2022. Four days ago, Marvel released the film’s official trailer. The trailer displayed Chris Hemsworth’s naked body for the very first time and fans all over the world are going gaga over it on social media.
The 38-year-old actor has returned to reprise his role as the God of War in the fourth ‘Thor’ franchise, where he is seen full with visible abs and biceps and toned physique, contrary to his overweight avatar in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019). The trailer showed Thor working out and saying that he got in shape. He went from dad bod to god bod.
In the very end of the trailer, the God of Thunder Zeus (Russell Crowe) is seen humiliating Thor by flicking off his veil from his body, while his hands are tied up and Thor is seen completely naked from behind, blurring the private part, in front of the whole court and therefore, Thor shouting, “You flicked too hard, dammit!” Watching Thor standing naked, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) asks King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), “Should we help him?” and Valkyrie replies, “I mean eventually, grape?”, as they are sitting behind, having grapes and enjoying the view.
Fans on social media are all hoping that the blur will not be there in the original film and Marvel is going to showcase its first ever nude scene, as ‘Eternals’ (2021) showed Marvel’s first sex scene. Few fans have also complimented Taika Waititi for directing such scene. ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ is Waititi’s second franchise as a director, after ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ (2017).
