Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta and Instagram, yesterday announced a big news that he and his wife, Priscilla Chan are expecting their third child. After having two children, Maxima and August Chan Zukerberg, Mark and Priscilla are now pregnant with another daughter. Mark shared a smiling and happy picture with wifey, while resting his hand on Priscilla’s bump and wrote on Instagram, “Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!”
The couple first met at Harvard University in 2003 and later tied the knot after nine years of togetherness in 2012. The couple has welcomed their first daughter in 2015 and second daughter in 2017. Mark’s sister, Randi Zukerberg shared her excitement through comments and wrote in the post, “Yay!!!!!! Serious girl power family! Can’t wait to meet her! Mazel Mazel!”
Priscilla has suffered a series of miscarriages before. Back then, Mark had opened up about the topic and described the devastating news as “a lonely experience” and said people should be comfortable enough to talk about these situations openly. After welcoming their second daughter, August in 2017, Mark had written a lovely letter to his daughter, “You only get to be a child once, so don’t spend it worrying too much about the future. You’ve got us for that, and we’ll do everything we possibly can to make sure the world is a better place for you and all children in your generation.”
