South actor Suriya is currently shooting for director Siva’s ‘Suriya 42’, labelled as one of the most ambitious and lavishly budgeted films of his career. The film has created a massive buzz among fans as it features him in a new avatar.
After the makers of ‘Suriya 42’ closed the deal for the film’s Hindi satellite rights with Jayantilal Gada for a record price, they have now sold its digital rights for a staggering amount. The digital rights of the film, which also features Disha Patani, have been sold to Amazon Prime Video as per the latest official announcement by the makers.
While the amount is yet to be disclosed, we have heard that the digital rights have been sold for an astronomical amount.
‘Suriya 42’ is jointly produced by UV Creations and Studio Green Screen Studios. It will release in numerous languages in 2D and 3D formats. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the makers are targeting a Diwali 2023 release for the film.
