‘Maidaan’ fronted by Ajay Devgn, directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor, is one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated films. In a recent development, music composer A.R. Rahman, who was assigned to score the music for the sports drama, finished the film’s music delivery.
Sharing the excitement about the music of Ajay Devgn starrer, A.R. Rahman tweeted saying that he has delivered five song masters of ‘Maidaan’ and he can’t wait for the listeners to listen to the soundtrack of this ambitious film.
The music maestro took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Just delivered all the 5 song masters for #Maidaan. Can’t wait for you to listen to this soundtrack had a lot of fun working with @iAmitRSharma and @manojmuntashir. Can you guess the singers?”

Talking about the music of the film, producer and presenter Boney Kapoor said, “We had a great experience working with Rahman. I believe ‘Maidaan’ is one of the best works of Rahman till date – both in terms of songs and background score. I am confident, he will win all awards for the work in ‘Maidaan’.”
The makers of ‘Maidaan’ released a short teaser of the film in March this year which was received positively by the audiences and trade alike. The film’s release has been changed seven times. Though the makers have announced that ‘Maidaan’ will release on June 23, 2023, it is likely that it will get pushed once again due to pending post-production work.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in ‘Bholaa’ (2023) earlier this year, has some exciting projects in his pipeline which includes ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, ‘Singham Again’ and a supernatural thriller co-starring R Madhavan.
