Phantom Films and AGS Entertainment today announced a big news that the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster film ‘Love Today’ (2022) is on the cards.
The Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana-starrer ‘Love Today’, a new-age romantic drama, was one of the most successful Tamil films last year. It will be remade in Hindi, the makers have confirmed. Pradeep Ranganathan, who made his acting debut with the film, also directed the Tamil version.
In their official statement, Phantom Films said that they are teaming up with AGS Entertainment and Srishti Bahal for the Hindi remake.

The Hindi remake will be produced by Phantom Films and AGS Entertainment, which marks their first collaboration. The makers are currently waiting for writers to finish the script before pitching it to actors and directors.
Talking about the original film, it marks the acting debut of director Pradeep Ranganathan, who has directed the successful film ‘Comali’ (2019), which starred Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal.
‘Love Today’ had Ivana, Sathyaraj and Yogi Babu in crucial roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music for this flick with Dinesh Purushothaman as the cinematographer and Pradeep E. Raghav editing it. The film, which was made on a budget of 5 crore, ran for hundred days and earned Rs. 100 Crore at the Tamil box office.
