The Comic-Con Experience 2022 event had kicked-off on December 1 and ended yesterday on December 4, 2022 in Brazil. The four-day event featured panels, interviews, activities, concerts with the likes of Marvel, DC, Disney, Netflix and many more participating in the event.
Several actors and big names were present at this gala and Keanu Reeves was also one of them. Along with various topics, Keanu talked about his much awaited film, ‘John Wick Chapter 4’ and revealed some exciting news about what to expect from the film.
The spin-off titled, ‘Ballerina’ also stars Ana De Armas in the lead alongside Keanu Reeves. This is the first time the duo has collaborated. At the largest pop culture event, Keanu shared, “I got to be in it, so I’m in it for a few sequences. So that was nice. They’re filming right now, and the script’s great, the story’s cool. Looking forward to it.”
According to Collider website, Keanu also revealed about some of the additional sequences on the spin-off. He shared that Ana De Armas will be playing a woman undergoing difficult circumstances, who’s looking for revenge, “Whoever killed her…someone killed her father. Who could that be? And so it’s her journey for actually understanding her past. She lost her father at a young age, and she doesn’t really know what happened. Only that someone came into the house and killed her father, who had a tattoo. And as we know in John Wick, if you have a tattoo, something’s going on.”
Surely it’s very exciting to know such details about Ana De Armas’ role and it’s quite evident now that it will be fun and thrilling to watch her in action again, after ‘The Gray Man’ (2022).
Directed by Chad Stahelski, starring Keanu Reeves, Ana De Armas, Donnie Yen and Scott Adkins, ‘John Wick Chapter 4’ is all set to release on March 24, 2023 only in cinemas.
