Katrina Kaif has recently completed 16 years of her career in the Hindi film industry. It primarily comprised of more hits than flops and a lot has to do with the banners she has worked. All the big banners, from Yash Raj Films to Dharma Productions has been explored by the actor.
A lot of the credit of Katrina’s initial success in Bollywood goes to none other than Salman Khan who has played a pivotal role in helping Katrina rise in the industry.
Her movies alongside Salman Khan started with ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ (2005), followed up with a string of movies like ‘Yuvvraaj’ (2008), ‘Bodyguard’ (2011), ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017) and ‘Bharat’ (2019). Apart from movies with Salman, Katrina has almost worked with every leading actor in the industry to be the in place where she is today.
So on completing 16 years when she was asked about her journey in the industry so far and she said, “It’s not always easy. You need to have nerves of steel to be in the film industry. It’s an unpredictable place and no one can guarantee success. I believe in not taking success to your head, or failure to your heart.”
Regarding her own personal journey, she said, “It’s been wonderful, a lot of hard work but also a lot of love from the audience.”
