After news of Katrina Kaif’s collaboration with director Sriram Raghavan broke out, an official announcement has confirmed that the actor has started reading the sessions of her next film with the director, Sriram Raghavan to understand and get into the skin of her character in the film.
Vijay Sethupathi, one of the most talented actors from the south, will be seen opposite of Katrina Kaif in this film. This is his second film after Santosh Shivan’s ‘Mumbaikar’ (2021). Katrina Kaif is expected to begin the shoot for this film after she completes the shooting of ‘Tiger 3’.
The shooting is expected to resume soon as Mumbai has reopened after the long lockdown. The film is said to be straight 90 minutes long and the shooting schedule will last 30 days.
Although, Vijay Sethupathi said that they have cancelled the shooting before, which was scheduled to begin on April 15th, 2021 after Katrina Kaif got tested positive for Covid-19, a few days before the shoot. Vijay Sethupathi was also supposed to start shooting for an Amazon Prime Video web series directed by Raj & DK from May 2021.
Katrina will be seen next in ‘Sooryavanshi’, opposite of Akshay Kumar and a horror comedy film ‘Phone Bhoot’ co-starring with Ishan Khatter and Sidhant Chaturvedi.
