Ram Madhavani’s ‘Dhamaka’ has launched its trailer. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, the action thriller will be streaming on Netflix. Vishwajeet Pradhan, Amruta Subhash will also be seen in the movie. The release date is 19th November, which is delayed because of the pandemic.
Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to share the trailer of the film. He is playing the role of an ex-TV news anchor named, Arjun Pathak who hosts radio shows and uses an alarming call from a terrorist as an opportunity to make his comeback as a prime-time host.
In the movie, Mrunal Thakur plays the role of Kartik’s wife, who is also a journalist and is reporting from the Mumbai sea-link which the terrorist threatens to blow. The couple seems to have grown apart although love didn’t fade between them.
The movie is based on a Korean film ‘The Terror Live’ (2013), written and directed by Kim Byung-woo.The movie also stars Amruta Subhash. Vishal Khurana has composed the music for the film. Mrunal Thakur has also shared the trailer on her Instagram handle.
