If these films have anyways kept the actor in news, the months gone by have also been further fabulous for him, courtesy numerous brand endorsements that he has been a part of.
“Inarguably, he is the youngest in his league to have best of the brands get associated with him. At last count, he already has more than a dozen odd brands against his name,” says a brand strategist, “Moreover, if you look at it, he is catering to the masses as well as the classes even in this segment. There are certain products that have to be sold at the grass-root level and he is endorsing them already. Then there are these high profile products which are limited edition and are designed for consumption by the elite. Kartik is endorsing those too.”
No wonder, when it comes to reaching out to the ‘aam junta’, he has also been signed up by brands like ‘Bombay Shaving Company’, ‘Flying Machine Jeans’, ‘Veet for Men’ and ‘Lux Inferno’ in the recent times.
“All of this brings him closer to the ticket paying audiences, and that’s a good enough move,” says a prominent PR personality, “There are so many actors out there selling so many products. What Kartik brings to the table is a relatability quotient. He has been an outsider who made it on his own. He is someone that people on the street can further relate to. For a product to sell, you need to believe that the celebrity endorsing it has his heart in the right place as well. Kartik exudes those vibes white strongly.”
No wonder, currently he is the man to reach out for when it comes to designer wear, food items, luxury products, accessories, mobile devices as well as affordable range of clothing and now even grooming products. While this may seem like a handful already, guess there is more to come in quick time as well.
