‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ is one of the most entertaining dance reality show in India. As per the format of the show, each couple has to perform pre-determined dance act and have to compete for judges’ points and audience votes. The couple receiving the lowest combined total of judges’ points and audience votes is eliminated each week until only the champion dance pair remains.
‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ debuted in 2006, and was backed by BBC Worldwide Productions India. ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ is the Indian version of BBC World’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Dancing With The Stars’, which were debuted in 2004. ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ has completed its Season 9 in 2017 and now, it has come up with Season 10 with dance maestros Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi and the stunning Karan Johar as the judges, and Maniesh Paul as the show host.
