Raju Srivastava ruled the hearts of all comedy lovers, especially after he shot to fame with the first season of the reality stand-up comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. As a result, his death created a vacuum in the film and television industry.
A prayer meeting was held to pay tribute to him at Mandapam Hall, ISKON Temple, Juhu, Mumbai on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Popular personalities like Bharti Singh, Kiku Sharda, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Nitin Mukesh and Gurmeet Choudhary were seen at this prayer meeting.
Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21 due to heart-related ailments. He was admitted to the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on August 10 following a heart attack.
He is survived by his wife Shikha Srivastava and children Antara and Ayushman.
