In the second of a series of exclusive content, K-pop XG (Xtraordinary Girls) released an emotional behind-the-scene video. They have also released a collaborative dance performance with world-class dancer, AIKI.
XG, whose second single “MASCARA” is exciting fans around the world, have released the second in the “XTRA XG” series of videos posted on YouTube.
The newly released “XTRA XG #2” includes behind-the-scene footage of “MASCARA” dance practice performance, which has a total of 8 million views on YouTube across two versions (fixed camera and moving camera). The video also features footage of JURIN’s 20th surprise birthday celebrations too. The footage is a great demonstration of the strong relationship formed between the members of XG.
A dance video was also posted to YouTube. This features AIKI, who shot to fame in the popular Korean dance survival show, ‘Street Woman Fighter’ (2021). This collaboration featured choreo set to Mary J. Blige’s song “Family Affair”.
“MASCARA” stands as an anthem for the next generation – emboldened with confidence and compassion. “MASCARA” evokes strength, unity and the bonds of friendship. The bold defiance in the line “Don’t mess with my mascara” captures the fresh and fearless spirit of XG. Nobody is going to make them cry.
