The former American wrestler is all set to feature in an upcoming action-comedy movie ‘Freelance’. The ‘GLOW’ (2017-2019) series leading star Alison Brie will be joining him in the lead role. ‘Freelance’ is directed by Pierre Morel and produced by Stuart Ford’s AGC Studios, Steve Richards’ Endurance Media, Sentient’s Renee Tab and Christopher Tuffin.
Written by Jacob Lentz, ‘Freelance’ is a story of an ex-special force operator, who takes a job of protecting a journalist, who is trying to save her career by interviewing a dictator. But, things get upside down when a military coup suddenly breaks out in the middle of the interview and now the three must escape from the chaos and survive in a jungle, where the military and the animals both are chasing them.
John Cena is making quite a notable work in the lead roles in Hollywood now. Seems like he is on the verge of making himself in the list of the biggest Hollywood stars. His ‘Peacemaker’, a HBO superhero action series recently released on January 13. The series is making a huge impact on audiences and fans are loving their favourite wrestler in a new avatar.
