Remember that quirky role of Jeanine Stifler’s mother in the iconic film, ‘American Pie’ (1999)? The character was played by Jennifer Coolidge and there is no doubt how brilliantly she has done her job as a naughty milf.
Recently in an interview with Variety, Coolidge has opened up about her personal life and shared that after ‘American Pie’s huge success, she had a lot of close interactions with men. She discussed about the “benefits” of playing a role of milf and jokingly shared about having sex with hundreds of men and how the role has helped her.
The 60-year-old actress shared, “I was so happy for ‘American Pie’ and the milf thing. I got a lot of play at being a milf and I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie’. There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
While talking about this secret, Coolidge has also shared her another iconic role, Tanya McQuoid in the latest series, ‘The White Lotus’ (2021), for which she achieved her first Emmy Award nomination. She spoke highly about the creator of the show, Mike White and said, “Some jobs, I’m sort of going, ‘Wow, this isn’t worth working for.’ What Mike wrote, I was staying up late every night.”
“I have done one thing really right in my life. I have picked great friends. If Mike was never successful, and we just did White Lotus as a play in a little theater where everyone paid 10 bucks to see it, it would still be one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. Because it was a killer job that no one else thought I could do”, Jennifer further continued.
