Ever since Henry Cavill announced the news that he’s not going to portray the next Superman, fans were quite disappointed on DC Extended Universe and made their anger visible on the internet.
Later DCEU heads James Gunn and Peter Safran unveiled that they are going to cast some other actor because the next film will be showcasing the past life of Superman and since then, there have been several rumours going around that Jacob Elordi is going to play the titular role.
Yesterday James Gunn opened up and debunked all these rumours about Superman. Gunn took to his Twitter and revealed that they haven’t chosen any actor for Superman role yet, “We’ll announce a few things in not too long, but the casting of Superman won’t be one of them.”
However, according to Collider, ‘The Batman’ (2022) director Matt Reeves revealed that he has got a meeting scheduled with James Gunn and Peter Safran in a few weeks. Reeves also shared that the new heads of DCEU are also planning for an eight-ten year packed project for the comic universe.
