The makers of Jalsa have revealed the teaser featuring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah. The teaser indicates that the story is about an investigative journalist who strives to reveal news surrounded by thrill, drama and conflicts. The plot revolves around a hit and run case and the teaser gives the audience glimpses of the incident and its after-effects.
An 18-year-old girl becomes a victim of a hit-and-run case and becomes the talk of the town. A journalist’s mother and a police officer are all caught up in a system of an ethical dilemma. The makers say that the movie is all about realising that truth is really pure and never simple.
The film also features Manav Kaul, Rohit Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, Shafeen Patel and Surya Kashibhatla in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Suresh Triveni, the film is produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The film will release on Amazon Prime Videos on 18th March.
