The fact that Ishaan Khatter can genuinely act was proved in his first film itself, ‘Beyond The Clouds’ by ace director Majid Majidi. Then came ‘Dhadak’ (2018) where he was cast as the lead opposite Janhvi Kapoor and his performance was also appreciated. Ishaan is the half brother of Shahid Kapoor who is currently on a roll after the success of ‘Kabir Singh’. Both Ishaan and Shahid share a great bond and Ishaan is often seen chilling with Shahid’s wife and daughter, Mira Rajput and Misha.
There are plenty of similarities between the two brothers. Shahid made his debut with ‘Ishq Vishk’ (2003). Coincidentally enough, Shahid did this movie around an age when Ishaan did ‘Dhadak’. The output was Ishaan’s uncanny resemblance with the Shahid of ‘Ishq Vishk’ in ‘Dhadak’.
Recently, Ramesh Taurani confirmed that they will come up with the sequel of ‘Ishq Vishk’ and reports started doing rounds that Ishaan will play the lead in the movie. However to dismiss it all, Ishaan recently clarified that he isn’t a part of the sequel and he has no information on it yet.
It will be interesting to see who joins the sequel of ‘Ishq Vishk’ as it is considered as a gem for teenagers who love Bollywood.
