Chris Pratt went on to establish himself as a superhero in Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2014 with ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ in the lead role, Star-Lord. Since then, he has given numerous indelible movies with Marvel like ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ franchises, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (2018), ‘Avengers: End Game’ (2019), etc.
Recently, in an interview with Men’s Health magazine, the actor surprisingly divulged his departure from Marvel Cinematic Universe and gave an emotional response. He shared, “You want to be conscious and put a lot of effort into experiencing the moment. Like, this is going away. I want to take it in. The other day, Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback, he got traded to Denver. He’s been with Seattle for about ten years. Which has been about the duration of this. I was like, ‘Wait, hold on, what happened?’”
Pratt talked about his long and exciting journey with Marvel and further shared, “The emotion around the last ten years sort of coming to an end. I was in the most embarrassing way, like, ‘My quarterback leaves, so I’m gonna cry.’ It’s hitting me in moments like that.”
“I don’t actually know what’s gonna come next. You asked whether or not I’m cognizantly, intentionally turning a page. The page is turning. Whether I want to or not. Because the franchises are over”, Pratt shared when asked about his future projects.
Chris Pratt was recently seen in ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ (2022). He is currently gearing up for his next ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’, releasing on July 7. He will be next seen in ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’, which will mark the end of his association with Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2023.
