Akshay Kumar, last year, went on a spree announcing films as he revealed few minimalistic posters of ‘PadMan’, ‘Gold’, and ‘Mogul’. Before that he also revealed a teaser poster of Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Crack’. Said to be a psychological thriller, ‘Crack’ was scheduled to release on Independence Day 2017.
Neeraj Pandey was directing ‘Crack’ who has enjoyed a strong-bud relationship with Akshay in the past. Things got interesting when Neeraj Pandey came up with ‘Aiyaary’ minus Akshay Kumar and ‘Crack’ was put on hold. Yes, Akshay Kumar had a tight schedule and we totally understand the priority process. Akshay Kumar had movies like ‘PadMan’, ‘Gold’, ‘Mogul’ and ‘2.0’ to his bag back then. ‘Mogul’ also got faded as ‘Crack’ did and now it’s been said Aamir Khan is producing ‘Mogul’ without Akshay Kumar.
Akshay Kumar went ahead and signed more movies like ‘Kesari’, ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Apart from ‘Kesari’ there were two more movies announced on the epic battle of Saragarhi. Ajay Devgn was the first to come up with ‘Sons Of Sardaar’ on the similar topic, Randeep Hooda and Akshay Kumar came in later. Akshay is about to wrap his ‘Kesari’ shoot while Ajay Devgn is busy with ‘Total Dhamaal’.
There also was news that Ajay Devgn is shelving ‘Sons Of Sardaar’ because to invest such hefty amount on a subject which already will be shown before, isn’t a great idea. But then it came to light that he will start the shooting for ‘Sons Of Sardaar’ soon after ‘Total Dhamaal’.
Now, we’ve people like Akshay Kumar, Neeraj Pandey and Ajay Devgn in the story, tangled yet connected to each other. There is a strong buzz that Akshay Kumar is working with Yash Raj Films for a period drama. Things also got added that Akshay Kumar will portray the role of an Indian teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist and royal advisor Chanakya in that film. The mysterious connection came to a full circle when Ajay Devgn announced a film on the similar subject, biopic of Chanakya, which will be directed by Neeraj Pandey. Hmm! Can this be a mere coincidence?
Our sources have strong information that Akshay Kumar is surely doing a movie with Yash Raj Films. It’s not based on the life of Chanakya but it’s a fresh subject. Whatever it is, if you join all of the above dots, everything hints only at one thing – not all is fine between Akshay Kumar, Neeraj Pandey and Ajay Devgn.
