‘Vikram Vedha’ (2022), starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, is now streaming on Jio Cinema. After watching the film on OTT, Hrithik’s fans praised his complex and spectacular performance as Vedha and headed to social media to demand a spin-off, intrigued by the complex nature of his character. To their happiness, the actor agreed and expressed a desire to act in a film based on Vedha’s backdrop story.
Hrithik Roshan confessed, “I love the character of Vedha; I had a lot of pleasure playing him. Maybe we can do a spin-off of just Vedha. Take that guy (a character) and make a film.”
‘Vikram Vedha’, fronted by Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, was the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Vikram Vedha’ (2017) which was directed by Pushkar-Gayatri who also directed the remake.
Currently, Hrithik Roshan is filming for his upcoming project ‘Fighter’, which will release on January 25, 2024. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand and co-starring Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is being billed as India’s first aerial action movie. The actor is also working on the next installment of the ‘Krrish’ (2006) franchise.
