Kangana Ranaut maybe someone who has made her own place in the industry today but she often forgets or rather one can say ‘pretends’ to forget that she isn’t the only one who has made it that way.
This is the very reason why she probably cannot stop ranting about the Roshans.
It was Kangana who started the tussle as she regarded Hrithik Roshan as a ‘silly ex’. This naturally did not go down really well with Hrithik and he sought clarification on the statement. Post that, Kangana has made several claims like Hrithik having proposed to her in Paris in January 2014 to them having spent lot of quality time together.
However, nothing could be proved and the entire thing came as a shocker after it was found that Hrithik hadn’t travelled outside India in January 2014.
Since then, the fight has gone on and on. While Kangana doesn’t leave a single opportunity to take a dig at Hrithik and create a controversy (especially before her film’s release), Hrithik has always been more calm and being the dignified man he is, chose to ignore most of it.
But recently, Kangana and her sister launched a fresh series of attacks as Kangana’s film, ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and Hrithik’s film, ‘Super 30’ were to both release on the same day on July 26, 2019.
It is because of this very reason why Kangana’s sister Rangoli couldn’t stop taking potshots at Hrithik and producer, Ekta Kapoor because of the same release date.
While Ekta Kapoor stood firm on her ground, Hrithik decided to go the ‘peaceful’ way. Henceforth, since Ekta Kapoor wasn’t ready to shift the release of the film, Hrithik Roshan today decided to postpone the release of ‘Super 30’ to avoid any further mental harassment.
In an official clarification, Hrithik wrote, “So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film SUPER30 in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause. Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible. Over the past few years, to my utter dismay, I have been witness to a lot of us cheering and encouraging what was/is an open and blatant case of harassment. I must even now, wait patiently and silently for the collective consciousness of society to take cognizance of such matters in order to maintain our faith in the civility of our society. This unrelenting helplessness must end”.
May this mess between the two end soon and amicably. After all, it’s high time that this mudslinging stops.
