Hrithik Roshan has announced his upcoming movie ‘Fighter’ alongside Deepika Padukone. The two will be sharing the screen together for the first time. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand from his MARFLIX banner.
‘Fighter’ is expected to be an action thriller movie. It is India’s first ever aerial action movie. It will be shot using latest technology and filming techniques and at locations across the world. It is produced by Viacom18 Studios, Mamata Anand, Ramon Chibb and Anku Pandey.
Hrithik posted the teaser on Twitter and wrote, “Presentng a glimpse of the MARFLIX vision as #Fighter Looking forward to my first flight alongside the exceptional @deepikapadukone. All buckled up for this #SiddharthAnand joyride”. ‘Fighter’ will be releasing in 2022.

On 8th July, Viacom18 Studios posted a short video on Twitter and wrote, “After a decade of entertaining you with hits that are close to your heart, we are all set to up the ante of your cinematic experience! Hrithik’s last two projects ‘War’ (2019) directed by Siddharth Anand and ‘Super 30’ (2019) directed by Vikas Bahl were one of the blockbuster hits and the highest grossing movies of that year. Deepika was last seen in ‘Chhapaak’ (2020) directed by Meghna Gulzar.
