At this time, when the whole nation is celebrating the immense success of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’, Himesh Reshammiya surprised fans with his upcoming release ‘Badass Ravikumar’.
The wait is finally over as the 50-year-old singer has announced the release date of the much anticipated action film. Taking to his social media, he wrote, “#BadassRaviKumar releasing on 11th October 2024 Dussehra The Xpose Franchise Continues.”
As soon as the news was dropped, fans of Reshammiya, who were keeping a low profile, emerged in the comments and started warning Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to protect their thrones, as ‘Badass Ravikumar’ is on the rise.
The “Tera Surroor” singer was last seen in ‘Happy Hardy And Heer’ (2020), where he played the lead role of Harpreet Singh Lam.
Himesh also revealed that Prabhudeva will be seen in a negative role in ‘Badbass Ravikumar’. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floor in March 2024. A source revealed to Pinkvilla, “The script is locked and the team is currently prepping for the action scenes with the intent of taking it on floors by March 2024. Himesh has composed a great music album for the film and much like all his previous work, will be launching the songs from the over the coming year.”
Apart from acting, ‘Badass Ravikumar’ will also be directed by Reshammiya himself. It also stars Himesh’s wife Sonia Kapur opposite the singer.
