“Chaka Chak” from the upcoming film ‘Atrangi Re’ is here to stay. Composed by music maestro A. R. Rahman, the hook step of the song has been trending on social media since its launch. Slated to release on 24th December, ‘Atrangi Re’ will be streamed exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
The BTS of the song has now caught everyone’s attention on the internet. In the making, we can see the choreographer, Vijay Ganguly’s process of coming up with the iconic dance moves that have now become the hook steps at every wedding across the country. Sara Ali Khan’s first solo dance performance in a film, the song has crowned her as the official Chaka Chak (Beautiful) girl.
Choreographer Vijay Ganguly said that he is happy that the director, Aanand L Rai trusted him with the song and was there at every step to help in integrating the story with the dance. He further stated that with A. R. Rahman composing the music for the song, it added more pressure for him to get the choreography on-point.
In the video, we can also see director Aanand L Rai explaining the mood of the song to Sara Ali Khan. Vijay Ganguly also praised the actress for her hard work.
