Actor Paul Grant, who had appeared in ‘Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi’ (1983) and ‘Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone’ (2002), suddenly passed away outside a railway station in London. He was just 56 years old.
According to Guardian website, the actor was found collapsed by local police outside King’s Cross station on March 16. He was rushed to nearest hospital and was put on life support immediately. Later he was pronounced brain dead by the doctors. On March 19, his family announced that they made a decision to switch off his all life support machines. His cause of death has not been disclosed yet.
The owner of the ambulance service, in which Grant was brought to the hospital, stated, “We were called at 2.08 pm on Thursday 16 March to report of an incident at St Pancras Station, Euston Road. We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a response car. We treated a man at the scene and took him to the hospital as a priority.”
Grant’s death was confirmed by his daughter Sophie Jayne. She said to Sky News, “I’m heartbroken. No girl deserves their dad to be taken away. He was so well known and loved. He’s gone too soon.”
Apart from ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Harry Potter’, Grant had worked in various other prodigious films like ‘Labyrinth’ (1986), ‘Pumping Iron’ (1977), ‘The Dead’ (1987), ‘Three Headed Beast’ (2022) and many more. He will always be remembered for his outstanding talent.
