A year after ending eleven years of marriagr with Shakira, it seems like ex-husband Gerard Piqué made his relationship with girlfriend Clara Chia Marti official on Instagram. Yesterday Piqué posted a selfie with Clara, where they both can be seen wearing black and smiling while looking at the camera.
Although paparazzi have previously captured the duo together outside, Gerard and Clara never publicly claimed to be dating. This is the first time the Barcelona footballer posted a picture after seven months of his divorce, since June 2022.
The picture is making quite a stir on social media now as he posted it just after week of Shakira’s latest track “BZRP Music Session #53” was released. The song had also made quite controversies as Shakira seemed to have slammed her ex-husband through the lyrics.
Shakira and Gerard Piqué tied the knot in 2011 and they have got two children, Milan and Sasha, together. In April 2022, Shakira shockingly disclosed that Piqué has cheated on her and immediately filed for separation She got divorced in June the same year. Soon after that, Piqué was seen with Clara, who is a public relationship agent of Piqué and works at his company, Kosmos. The 23-year old Clara Chia Marti is twelve years younger than the footballer, who is 35 years old.
As soon as Gerard posted the cozy picture, several Shakira fans started venting their anger out with hate comments.
