The Shakun Batra directorial dropped its trailer starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. The trailer is a work of art that intensely creates a web of complicated relationships. According to the director, the movie is a ‘mirror into modern adult relationships’.
Deepika plays Alisha and the trailer opens with a glimpse into her disturbed marriage with Dhairya who plays Karan. Ananya aka Tia is Deepika’s cousin who introduces them to her fiancé Siddhant aka Zain. In the later half, Tia and Zain fall for each other leading to many other complications in their life.
Deepika and Siddhant’s chemistry increases the temperature. Fans showered praises as soon as the makers dropped the trailer. Ananya Pandey looks extremely beautiful though there are very few glimpses of her in the trailer.
‘Gehraiyaan’ will release on Amazon Prime Videos on February 11, 2022. Produced by Karan Johar, the movie was supposed to release in January but was postponed. The entire cast is busy promoting the movie on reality shows and their social media. Karan took to Instagram and wrote, “We can see the shore, till then we’ll dive into your love! #GehraiyaanOnPrime releases Feb 11.”
