One of top actors in France, Gaspard Ulliel, known for his film ‘Hannibal Rising’ (2007), tragically passed away while skiing in the alps of southeast France on Tuesday, January 18 at the age of 37. His agent confirmed the news to AFP Channel that Gaspard was in a critical condition due to skull injury.
It’s been reported by a spokesman from ski station that Gaspard bumped into another skier at the meeting point of two slopes. The other skier was not injured that much but Ulliel went into a critical condition immediately. He was airlifted to a hospital in Grenoble, where he was pronounced dead yesterday, January 19.
Gaspard Ulliel had done many remarkable films such as ‘A Very Long Engagement’ (2004) and ‘It’s Only The End Of The World’ (2016), for which he won the prestigious César Award two times as Best Actor. He also starred in the lead role in ‘Saint Laurent’ (2014), a biopic of the legendary fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent.
Just few days before this tragic incident, Gaspard Ulliel’s upcoming series ‘Moon Knight’s trailer was launched, which will be released on March 30. This is his first series with Marvel Studios and also the last, where we can see him for the last time.
