Now, it has been reported by The Hollywood Reporter that HBO is currently planning and developing a spin-off series of ‘Game Of Thrones’ and the story will be focusing on the titular role Jon Snow. In short, Kit Harington will be back to reprise the role. It has also been reported that the spin-off’s story will follow Snow’s adventures and events from the final season of ‘Game Of Thrones’.
In the final season, ‘Game Of Thrones’ unveiled that Jon Snow had discovered his true name was Aegon Targaryen, a potential heir to the Iron Throne. In the last episode, he was exiled from Westeros and journeyed North of the Wall with the Wildlings to leave his old life behind. Kit Harington was twice nominated for Emmy Awards for Jon Snow.
After ‘Game Of Thrones’, Kit Harington was last seen in Marvel Studios’ ‘Eternals’ (2021) and recently in the lead role of National Theatre’s live production ‘Henry V’ (2022).
