It’s been two years since the news of Snow White fairy tale’s film has been making rounds. Though no other cast members were unveiled, Gal Gadot’s playing the role of Evil Queen was revealed with the film’s news. Fans are quite excited to watch their favourite Wonder Woman in a new avatar.

Seems like not only her fans, but Gal Gadot herself is also quite excited for the character. Recently in an interview with Vogue Hong Kong, Gadot has explained that she had a lot of fun playing an extremely arch character. She said that she tried a lot of “different” things for the role and the one that she directly points to is her accent.

Gadot also called her character “delicious” and said, “I think it was so much fun to play the Evil Queen. There was something so delicious with this part because it’s a fairy tale. I am playing a Disney villain for the first time. And because it’s a musical, I could stretch my performance and make it so much more dramatic and so much more animated, that it was just simply delightful. I enjoyed it, and I changed my voice and I did all these different things. And it was just super fun, and I can’t wait to watch it. I can’t wait to see how you know how it all turns out.”

Directed by Marc Webb, ‘Snow White’ is a live-action Disney film, written by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. Although there have been various big versions of ‘Snow White’, this time Disney has promised that for this live-action film, the story will be specifically focused on the Disney classic ‘Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs’ (1973).

Apart from Gal Gadot, the film also stars Rachel Zegler, Andrew Burnap, Martin Klebba and Colin Michael Carmichael. The film went on floor last year in July 2022, but the makers haven’t revealed the release date yet.
