‘Gadar 2’, which has been in the news ever since its announcement, is a sequel to the blockbuster ‘Gadar’ (2001). The sequel which went on floors last year, wrapped up earlier this year and we saw the makers unveiling the first poster of the film on 26 January, featuring Sunny Deol in his gargantuan avatar and the poster went viral soon after its release.
The sequel retains the original star cast with Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma and all three actors reprising their roles from the prequel. Anil Sharma, who directed the first instalment is also helming the sequel.
Now the latest buzz in B-Town is that the makers of ‘Gadar 2’ are planning a massive promotional campaign for the film and they are planning to kick off the campaign by making an appearance on Kapil Sharma’s show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and grand finale of Salman Khan’s reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’.
Salman will be joined by Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the grand finale and it is expected that the makers will reveal the first glimpse of the film in ‘Bigg Boss 16’ itself.
‘Gadar 2’ is slated to release on Independence Day weekend, August 11, 2023.
