Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bloody Daddy’ has been in the news ever since it was announced. Touted as a stylish action thriller, the film is remake of French film ‘Sleepless Nights’ (2011) and was shot in a period of just thirty-five days. It was the first film for both Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar to be shot in such less duration.
Last week, the makers unveiled the trailer of the film. It has skipped a theatrical release and headed to direct to digital release on Jio Cinema on June 9.
Now on Tuesday, the makers unveiled the first song from the film, “Issa Vibe”. Composed and written by rapper Badshah, the song is sung by Payal Dev and Badshah.
The party track, shot in the club, is truly a dance song to groove on. The mesmerizing visuals of the song are absolutely captivating and it also features some glimpses from the movie.
Ali Abbas Zafar shared the song video on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Watch the full song #IssaVibe.”
‘Bloody Daddy’ also features Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivan Bhatena.
Meanwhile, Shahid was last seen in the web series ‘Farzi’ (2023) alongside Kay Kay Menon and Vijay Sethupathi. Helmed by the director duo Raj and DK, the series streamed on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and received a massive response from the viewers.
He will be next seen in Maddock Films’ untitled romantic comedy film opposite Kriti Sanon. Written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film also stars veteran actor Dharmendra in pivotal role and will hit the theatres in October 2023. The yet-to-be-titled film marks Shahid and Kriti’s first on-screen collaboration.
