Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock recently entered the DC Extended Universe with ‘Black Adam’. This is the first time Johnson has portrayed a superhero role and made everyone’s head turn with the thrilling action sequences.
However, after the release, critics did not seem to be impressed with the film as they have shared negative reviews. Few trade experts have declared that ‘Black Adam’ is a commercial flop. Hence, after several controversies, Dwayne Johnson recently broke his silence and come out in defence.
The actor has come up with collection reports of ‘Black Adam’ on his Twitter. He denied reports about its debacle and claimed that it’s a profitable venture.
Johnson took to Twitter and shared a news article about ‘Black Adam’s profitability from Deadline. He wrote in the caption, “Waited to confirm with financiers before I shared this excellent #BlackAdam news – our film will PROFIT between $52M-$72M. Fact. At almost $400M worldwide we are building our new franchise step by step (first Captain America did $370M) for the DC future.”
