Dua Lipa, who is one of the most trending pop-stars currently, has made her debut as an actor in Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’. While Margot Robbie plays the original Barbie, Dua Lipa plays the mermaid version of the iconic doll.
The long awaited world premiere of ‘Barbie’ was finally held yesterday and stars like Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Issa Rae and Dua Lipa showed up in stunning attires on the Barbie-inspired pink carpet. While Margot was seen in a shimmering black Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress, Ryan wore a pink Gucci suit.
The most eye-catching appearance was made by Dua Lipa. She made a daring fashion choice at the world premiere by wearing a totally see-through Bottega Veneta chainmail dress. The English-Albanian singer left everyone amazed by layering the dress with nothing but only a matching crystal silver thong. With a diamond choker, drop earrings and holographic silver heels, Dua was looking drop dead gorgeous on the pink carpet.
‘Barbie’ is the story about the Barbie doll, who along with her boyfriend Ken suddenly leave their seemingly colourful, dreamy perfect world and land in the real world and soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.
