On Thursday, July 27, the makers of ‘Dobaaraa’ dropped the trailer of their film, starring TaapseePannu. After ‘Manmarziyaan’ (2018), this is Taapsee’s second collaboration with Anurag Kashyap. Pavail Gulati and Saswata Chatterjee are also seen in pivotal roles in this film.
The trailer is full of suspense and one can apprehend that the movie is a mystery thriller. In the trailer, we see that Taapsee is moving to a new house with her husband and daughter where a child was murdered 26 years ago during a storm. Taapsee connects to that child through television and revisits an old story from the past during a storm that affects her present.
‘Dobaaraa’ will premiere on August 12 at the Melbourne Indian Film Festival. The film will then be released in India and worldwide on August 19.
