Diljit Dosanjh who is relatively new in the Hindi film industry, has quickly made his mark and presence felt even though he has tons of experience in the Punjabi film and music industry. But he is someone who has to be accredited with the recognition that he is the first actor from Punjab who has made it as a lead hero without having to compromise or let go of the turban.
After successful movies like ‘Udta Punjab’ (2016) and ‘Soorma’ (2018), Diljit was last seen in the hit Punjabi-Hindi comedy, ‘Shadaa’ alongside the veteran, Neeru Bajwa. His last movie was a big hit and he is now coming up with ‘Arjun Patiala’ alongside Kriti Sanon that is set to release on 26 July, 2019.
Interestingly enough, Kriti’s last movie, ‘Luka Chupi’ was a comedy too. So given the two actors are uniting after delivering successful comedy movies themselves, the expectations are quite high with ‘Arjun Patiala’.
So when Diljit was asked about whom he looks up to as inspiration, he said that Mehmood and Govinda are his two favorite comedians. Adding more to it, he concluded that the best thing he likes about these two are their comic timing and the subtle fashion in which they enact their comedy.
