Here’s a sad news for all the Potterheads. Our beloved Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe recently revealed that he is not interested at the moment in reprising the role in any more adaptations of ‘Harry Potter’ film franchise.
In an interview with New York Times, when he was asked about doing the ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’, Radcliffe said, “This is not something I’m really interested in doing right now. This isn’t the answer that anybody’s going to want, but I think I was so able to go back and enjoy it because it’s not a part of my day-to-day life anymore.”
The 32-years-old English actor further added saying, “I’m getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of ‘Potter’ okay and I’m really happy with where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life. I’m never going to say never, but the ‘Star Wars’ guys had like thirty, forty years before they went back. For me, it’s only been ten. It’s not something I’m really interested in doing right now.”
‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ is a two-part play written by Jack Thorne, which is based on J.K. Rowling and John Tiffany’s ‘Harry Potter’ book. The play premiered on July 30, 2016 at Palace Theatre, London.
The legendary trio, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have recently reunited this year for the twentieth anniversary of ‘Harry Potter’ in a documentary film ‘Return To Hogwarts’, which aired on HBO Max and is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
