South Korean boy band ‘BTS’ has always managed to remain in the top lists worldwide. Be it all the members performing together or their solo performances, ‘BTS’ never failed to impress the audiences. From Winning Billboard Awards to American Music Awards, Grammy Awards, MTV Music Awards, Radio Disney Awards, Spotify Awards and many other accolades from different countries, ‘BTS’ has always managed to top the charts.
Recently, ‘BTS’ rapper Suga creates history for being the only South Korean singer to enter the top US Spotify artists for his solo three tracks, “Girl Of My Dreams”, “Interlude” and “Daechwita”.
Suga’s single collaboration with Juice WRLD, “Girl Of My Dreams” has recently top the US Spotify charts as it received 1.1 million streams and now Suga is moving towards the highest streamed Asian solo artist within 24 hours. The song is from Juice WRLD’s ‘Fighting Demons’ album, which was launched on December 10, 2021. The album also includes eighteen other songs, which are sung by two big singers, Justin Bieber and Eminem. The track “Girl Of My Dreams”s rap portion was done by Suga and also penned by him.
The second track “Interlude”, which was produced by Suga and performed by American singer Halsey has also received the highest streamed track with 5 million streams on Spotify. The track is from the ‘Maniac’ album, which is Halsey’s third studio album launched in 2020.
And finally, the third track “Daechwita” by Agust D, received the highest streamed track of Suga with 4 million streams in a day. “Daechwita” is the title track from Suga’s self produced mixtape ‘D-2’, which was also launched in 2020. The song also made the 76th position at the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Meanwhile, ‘BTS’ band has now become one of the members of Guinness World Records for their song “Hall Of Fame”, after breaking 23 records in 2021.
