The makers of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ dropped the trailer of the horror comedy starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is directed by Anees Bazmee and is a sequel to Priyadarshan’s classic ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ (2007). The film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anjum Khetani, Krishna Kumar and Murat Khetani.
Netizens have given a mixed response to the trailer. While some have loved KartikAaryan as Roohbaba in the film, others missed Akshay Kumar’s sense of humour. One can conclude from the trailer that the story has changed completely with different plots but the basic essence remains the same.
KartikAaryan’s character has picked up some traits of Akshay Kumar in the first part. Although Tabu doesn’t get enough screen time in the trailer, her mysterious character is something the audience seems to be rooting for. Rajpal Yadav seems to play the same character from the prequel. Kiara Advani is shown as the famous character of Manjulika in the trailer in a couple of shots. In the trailer, it’s just KartikAaryan who is highlighted; so maybe there is a huge mystery revolving around the other characters.
The film is slated to release in theatres on May 20, 2022.
